Setup checklist
- Create or update meter records with serial/meter numbers.
- Assign each meter to the correct unit and branch.
- Attach the correct vendor profile.
- Confirm active/inactive status is correct.
- Test control capability (if valve control is supported).
- Verify the meter appears in readings after polling.
Good practices
- Use a consistent naming standard for meter labels
- Deactivate retired or replaced meters quickly
- Recheck assignments after tenant or unit changes
