Owners and landlords
Owners (or Landlords) are the parties who own the properties you manage. You may also track management contracts with them—fees, reporting, and payouts. Nyumba Zetu lets you store owner details and, where supported, run owner statements and reports.Where to find owners and landlords
- Sign in to the app.
- In the sidebar, click Landlords or Owners (or Management contracts), depending on your menu.
- You’ll see a list of owners or contracts. Use search or filters to find one.

Owner statements and reports
Many setups include owner statements or landlord reports that summarize rent collected, expenses, and amounts due to the owner for a period. Run these from Reports (e.g. Landlord statement, Owner report) and filter by owner or date range. For how tenant billing, cash receipts, allocations, and recharges relate to the company ledger (double-entry journals, posting rules, and typical account flows), see Accounting and posting.Next steps
- Reports – Run landlord and owner reports.
- Managing leases – Properties and units may be linked to owners.
