Quickstart

This guide walks you through signing in and doing your first tasks in Nyumba Zetu.

Sign in

  1. Open Nyumba Zetu in your browser.
  2. Enter your email and password, then click Sign in.
  3. If you don’t have an account, ask your organization admin to invite you or use the sign-up flow if your instance allows it.

After you sign in

You land on Home (profile). From the sidebar you can reach:
  • Leases – List and manage leases and units.
  • Residents – View and manage tenant contacts.
  • Finance – Invoices, payments, and adjustments (if you have access).

Complete your first tasks

Open Leases

Click Leases in the sidebar. You’ll see the list of leases (or an empty list if none exist yet).

Add or open a lease

Click Add (or open an existing lease) to create or edit a lease. Fill in unit, tenant, dates, and rent. Save when done.

Create an invoice

From FinanceInvoices, create an invoice for a tenant (e.g. rent for the period). You can send it or mark it paid later.

Check reports

Go to Reports to run financial or operational reports (e.g. revenue, trial balance) depending on your role.
