Tenant portal

Tenants can use the tenant portal to view their information, statements, and perform self-service tasks without contacting the office.

How tenants access the portal

Tenants sign in to the tenant portal (often a separate URL or a “Tenant portal” link from the main app). They use their own credentials. If they don’t have an account, they may need to register or receive an invite from the property manager.

What tenants can do

  • View statements – See charges, payments, and balance for their tenancy.
  • View documents – Access lease documents, letters, or other files shared with them.
  • Submit requests – E.g. maintenance or service requests, depending on your setup.
  • Pay rent – If online payment is enabled, pay rent or other charges from the portal.
  • Update profile – Change contact details or password in some setups.
  • Meter readings – Submit meter readings if your organization uses this feature.
Exact features depend on how your organization has configured the tenant portal.

For property managers

  • Ensure tenants have accounts and the correct lease/resident link so they see the right data.
  • Use Settings or tenant management to control what’s visible or allowed in the portal (e.g. payment methods, request types).

Next steps

  • Residents – Manage tenant records that link to the portal.
  • Invoices and payments – Invoices and payments visible to tenants in the portal.
  • Settings – Organization and portal configuration.
