IoT consumption process
Use this tab to turn raw readings into billable usage for a selected period.What this process does
- Calculates usage between start and end dates
- Flags records with missing boundaries or unusual changes
- Produces the data set used by billing runs
Before you start
- Reading collection is complete for the target period
- Tariff setup for the period is ready
- You have confirmed branch and date range
Step-by-step
- Open Consumption.
- Click Calculate Consumption.
- Select the period and grain (for example daily or period).
- Wait for the background job to finish.
- Review status, missing periods, and negative or extreme values.
- Correct source data and rerun if required.
Validation checklist
- No unexplained negative consumption
- No missing start/end readings for billed meters
- Usage values are reasonable compared to prior periods
Done when
- Consumption records are complete and trusted
- Exceptions are documented or fixed
- Billing run can start without data quality blockers
